Quality of life & palliative care
Project summary
Quality of life & palliative care is the main goal of the research. There are an estimated 800,000 Dutch people living with cancer or its consequences. Quality of life is therefore becoming an increasingly important point of attention in research and treatment.
Dr. Marinella Offerman’s research contributes to a better individual assessment of life expectancy for patients with head and neck cancer in the palliative phase.
Impact
In this way, patients and their loved ones can make informed decisions and better prepare for the approaching end of life.
